I'm looking for a serious relationship and am committed to sharing my life with someone. I cherish my sense of humor and brains and making people laugh is my life's goal. I'm a "transplanted" girl born and bred in Buffalo. Others would describe me as a TiVo addict and forensic "nut". I am a homebody (if you want a girl who likes to mountain climb and skydive - I'm not your gal) and live a comfortable, simple life. I am looking for "the one". I appreciate a sense of humor, moral fortitude and a committed heart. At this point in my life I have decided that children are not in my future. I would like a partner who does not have children - living with them or not. I love to be with someone that challenges me and brings out the best in me. I am a hopeless romantic and looks are not really important to me. Can't rate a book by it's cover, right? I consider myself relatively open-minded and I accept others foibles, unique qualities and funky ideas. I can be very opinionated and I am quite direct about...almost anything. I have a nursing degree but I am now working in a pharmacy with a group of co-workers (friends...really) who I treasure. My quote: "People forget what you say, forget what you do but, never forget the way you made them feel". I don't really have a "blueprint" of my perfect match but, I think that honesty, integrity, humor and thoughtfulness should be the basis of ANY relationship. I am envious of people who say they are married to their best friend (like my parents). What could be better?
